An audio recording of our weekly service is available through the website for those unable to come to the church. Today's service will be available within 24 hours. It remains on the website until the following week's service.
HAPPY NEW YEAR! Thank you to everyone who helped make the church look so beautiful over Christmas.
Under the Government’s guidance, churches can remain open for public worship even in Tier 4, so we will continue to hold our 10.00 a.m. service each Sunday.
Your health and safety is very important, so please don’t worry if you would feel more secure staying at home for the moment. We are still the body of Christ in this place, and we can pray for one another.
DID YOU KNOW? The Statue of St Anne
In the south transept is a statue of St. Anne with her daughter Mary (the mother of Jesus), as a young child. The statue is by Karin Jonzen (1990). The base on which it stands was designed and cut by Michael Renton, and bears a text from the Book of Proverbs (ch31 v.29): Many women have done excellently, but you surpass them all.
