SERVICES IN THE COMING WEEKS
Our YouTube service for today can be accessed on this website.
We will also open the church for individual private prayer 9.30-11.30 on Sunday mornings.
KITCHEN AND TOILET EXTENSION
Contractors have begun to clear the foundations for our new extension. There will be some photographs of the work in progress on the website soon.
Lord Jesus Christ,
in these dark and difficult days,
we turn our hearts to you.
In ages past, you have delivered
our nation from disaster.
Do it again, we pray.
Give wisdom beyond human wisdom to our leaders.
Give strength beyond human strength to the NHS and all our frontline workers.
Give comfort beyond human comfort to the elderly and all who grieve.
Lord Jesus Christ, in these dark and difficult days,
turn your face towards us, have mercy upon us,
and heal our land, we pray.
UNITY CENTRE, FRIARS WALK
The Unity Centre has contacted us to say they are offering some of their treatments free of charge to those who would benefit. During lockdown they are offering chair yoga and chair tai-chi via Zoom. If you are interested or know someone whom might be, please contact Judith who will refer you on to the Centre.
On Sunday 6th December (lock-down depending), we will be holding our Toy Service, which includes gifts to be given by Family Support Work to those in need.
If you would like to give a gift to a child, or family member, then we would particularly like:
Ages 5+: Games, Jigsaws, Books, Colouring books and pens;
Teenagers: Books, Gift Vouchers;
Men: Gift Vouchers.
Gifts can be brought to the Church on Sunday mornings between 9:30 and 11:30.
NOTE: We cannot accept soft toys, and please do not gift-wrap, as items need to be checked.
The Church website – www.stanneslewes.org.uk – has a calendar, showing all the dates of things happening within the church. Click on "What's On" and select "Calendar".
